Shift Production Manager will have a background in fast-paced, high-risk, chilled food production and a thorough understanding of the transformation of raw materials into finished products. Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban is highly desirable. The role demands a driven Production Manager with a proven track record in man management, continuous process improvement and excellent decision-making abilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with personnel at all levels are essential. As a Shift Production Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the production team and equipment, reporting directly to the Site Manager. You will manage four direct reports and indirectly oversee a team of 60-100 individuals. Production Shift Manager responsibilities: – Man management and team building – Driving the production team and monitoring production KPIs – Handling management issues. – Structuring the site for optimal performance – Implementing continuous improvement and reliability measures – Budget and cost control – Ensuring the delivery of the company\’s vision and standards to all team members You will thrive in an extremely fast-paced continuous process environment, where meeting tight deadlines is the norm. The successful Shift Production Manager must have experience in a similar environment in a FMCG or Food processing industry  and posses the following.
