About Our Family Advice and Community Connection Service
We provide early support and advice to families who may feel they have become a bit stuck or are seeking information, signposting, or referrals to other services.
All families with children under 18 living in Perth and Kinross can contact us directly for access. We offer personalized support on family matters in locations that suit them, working alongside families to provide a lifeline and tailored assistance.
What we are looking for….
We seek experienced, adaptable individuals to join our relief pool, bringing innovative and flexible approaches to family support. Flexibility is essential to deliver support at times that meet families\’ and communities\’ needs, including out-of-hours support (early mornings, evenings, weekends).
You will collaborate with statutory and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
Strong communication, teamwork, planning, and decision-making skills are required, along with a compassionate nature to understand the importance of best practice and to support children and families facing everyday challenges. We are especially interested in candidates interested in working within their local community, including rural areas, to extend our service reach and connection.
At Aberlour, we aim to ensure every child, young person, and family has the support to thrive. If you share this vision, we invite you to join our team. Our values—Respect, Innovation, Integrity, and Challenge—are central to our work. Demonstrating how these values are reflected in your practice is essential.
