We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Collections Class 1 Driver to join IAA formerly SYNETIQ at our site in Red Lodge, Bury St Edmunds.

The Opportunity

  • Collecting vehicles from various locations.
  • Loading and offloading collected vehicles from our clients and customers onto your HGV using the vehicle winch where required.
  • Height and weight restrictions will apply, and you will need to record height before every journey using the measuring stick and cab height indicator.

Key Areas Of Responsibility

  • Liaising with customers and clients
  • Collecting vehicles from various locations
  • Loading and offloading to and from our HGV vehicles
  • Driving as per regulations and legislations regarding working and driving regulations and height restrictions

Here's What You Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience, but this is not essential
  • Previous recovery/car transporter experience would be an advantage (full company training will be provided)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, organised and resilient
  • Good attention to detail
  • Category C / C+E Driving License
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Driver CPC Card
