Duties
- Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities, records attendance, takes reservations, accepts payment, and notifies participants of changes. Answers customer questions about trips, tours, events, and rentals.
- Operates a motor vehicle to transport equipment, supplies, and passengers for scheduled activities.
- Prepares equipment, tools, accessories, and areas for trips, tours, and events.
- Assists with inventory management of recreation equipment and supplies.
- Supports group activities requiring multiple staff members.
Requirements
- Must complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Must possess a valid state driver\’s license upon appointment and obtain a USAFE driving permit within 30 days.
- Must complete a satisfactory pre-employment physical.
- Designated as a Drug Testing Position; subject to initial and random drug tests.

Additional Information
The area of consideration includes citizens, permanent residents, and legal residents of the US residing within a 60-mile radius of RAF Alconbury, UK, or who will reside there within 30 days. US citizens must be NATO citizens unless authorized as dependents of US service members or civilians supporting US Forces. US-issued social security number and UK residency documentation are required. UK residents without US ties are ineligible.
Experience must be supported in your resume, including paid, unpaid, or volunteer work. Education cannot substitute experience for this role.

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification for Selective Service.
- Resided in the US or US Territories for at least three years prior to employment.
- All federal employees must be paid via direct deposit.
- Probationary period may apply.
- Selection is subject to preferences and priorities; multiple hires possible within 60/90 days after closing.
- PCS costs are not authorized.
- LQA is not authorized; Post Allowance may be available for full-time roles.
