Software Developer – Lancaster / Kendal area (2 days WFH) – C# / .NET / OOP / Entity Framework / .NET Core / UI / Azure / CI/CD / Docker / Kubernetes / Git / TFS / Azure DevOps We are looking for an experienced Software Developer for a growing Medical Software business, based between Lancaster & Kendal. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a close-knit, collaborative Development Team, working on some complex projects, where problem solving is of high importance. To be considered for this role you’ll need commercial experience in C# / .NET Development Tech Stack: C# / .NET (.NET Core ideally) UI Development (WPF / XAML / MVVM) Entity Framework API Design & Development OOP SQL Git / TFS Desirable skills include Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD & Azure DevOps To be considered you’ll need a background in C# and a willingness to work on some massive projects & products. Role Overview: Design & architecture of applications and design/development of user-facing applications Building reusable code libraries Testing, validation and optimisation Cross application functionality Documenting Problem solving and investigation Peer code reviews Requirements gathering (ad-hoc) Learning and upskilling into new technology You’ll be joining an established Employee owned business (EBT), based in a great location in Kendal / Cumbria. They boast an almost unheard-of staff retention record due to the variety and progression within the role. As an employee owned business you’re involved in the say of the company and get to have a real influence on the company and have a real sense of ownership and inclusion. Salary is £35K-£60K, plus bonus (usually over 30%), annual pay review + annual cost of living increase to salary. Medical & pension. You’ll be able to work from home 2 days a week and get full home office kit provided.
