Job role: Female Support Worker
Location: Winsford
Salary: £12.60 – £13.30 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Shifts: Full Time (Full‑time staff required to work at least one sleep‑in per week)
We require a Female Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting, making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.
About the role: As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day‑to‑day support and routine of the people within the service, including:
- Providing day‑to‑day support and routine care.
- Prompting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
- Supporting and encouraging development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
- Managing health‑care needs, including accompanying people to routine appointments or administering medication.
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
- Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
- Encouraging and motivating individuals to participate in community and everyday activities.
- Promoting independence while offering reassurance and support.
- Working as part of a dedicated and compassionate team.
- Full training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure you are equipped to succeed in your role.
