Estimator (M&E) Reading, Berkshire £65,000 – £70,000 Package: Vehicle or Allowance (£5,500) + upto 20% Bonus + 25/ 8 days annual leave + private healthcare + pension + an array of company benefits Working for a leading Facilities Management business you will work within a project management team estimating packages between £50k-£5m. Prepare comprehensive bids and tender submissions by analysing project requirements, specifications, drawings, and client requests. Conduct cost analyses and value engineering assessments to ensure projects remain within budget and are cost-effective while maintaining quality. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to discuss project scopes, clarify requirements, and provide input on project feasibility and constraints. Identify potential risks within project scopes and adjust estimates, accordingly, ensuring accurate forecasting and contingency planning. Maintain detailed records of all estimates. Flexible working with remote working opportunities available. Requirements: Experience working as an Estimator putting together your own cost buildups for M&E projects. It would be desired if applicants held professional certifications (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, RICS, CIBSE). MUST hold a UK driving license.
