Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Cemetery Operative. Working as part of a team, the post holder will be responsible for grave location checks, grave excavation, and shoring. They will also assist in maintaining the cemetery grounds and gardens to a high standard for service users and visitors.

Applicants will need to be proficient in the use of handheld power tools. Experience working within cemeteries and bereavement services is essential, and experience in dealing with the public and bereaved is desirable.

The post holder will be required to work outdoors in a manual environment as part of a team.
