Base pay range

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque New Forest, our hotel offers guests a relaxing retreat with exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of hospitality in a stunning countryside setting.

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Night Porter to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our guests\’ comfort and safety during the overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm and friendly welcome to guests arriving or departing at night.
• Monitor and maintain the security of the hotel premises.
• Provide our guests with late check-ins and early check outs as required, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Handle any guest requests or issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure the hotel is tidy, organised, and secure throughout the night.
• Complete light cleaning of Front of House areas.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including fire and emergency procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar role (preferably in hospitality) is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• A professional and friendly attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
• Good knowledge of health and safety standards.
• A love for working in a peaceful, countryside environment!
