KS2 Primary Teacher

Introduction

Here at Qualiteach, we specialise in both long-term and permanent recruitment. We are currently partnered with a number of schools and trusts across the local authority that are urgently adding to their staffing. We are seeking a KS2 Primary Teacher.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils within Year 6.
2. Inspire children with enthusiasm and foster a love of learning.
3. Maintain a sound knowledge of the requirements of the national curriculum.
4. Prepare and plan lessons considering the needs of all children in the class.
5. Develop teaching materials, programmes, methods of teaching and assessment, and pastoral arrangements.
6. Deliver SATs intervention classes.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience.
• Experience teaching in KS2.
• QTS or QTLS qualification.
• Experience delivering SATs and SATs intervention.
• Excellent behaviour management skills with a range of techniques.
• Experience working with learners with diverse Educational Needs.
• Ability to commit to a long-term position.
• Experience with EHCPs.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
