We are seeking a dedicated Regional Support Manager with experience in leadership and management. The ideal Regional Support Manager candidate will have a sound recent background in elderly and dementia care with a strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulations, business planning and budget management, and marketing of care homes and services. This organisation is a well-established care company where care and compassion is at the heart of everything they do. They are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Regional Support Manager to help maintain the good reputation of the homes and promote person-centred care. The Regional Support Manager will operate across their care homes and provide a range of support, depending on the company and service’s needs, for care homes based in counties such as South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire etc. Regional Support Manager Skills and Experience: * Previous experience as a home manager, regional support manager, or a turnaround manager * Strong leadership skills with mentoring abilities * NVQ level 5 or equivalent Regional Support Manager Duties will include: * Providing additional support to care homes within the district that are underperforming or lack a Home Manager/Care Manager, with the potential to become the registered manager if needed. * Overseeing service quality to ensure compliance with CQC essential standards, supporting residents in their daily activities and enhancing their quality of life. * Ensuring the delivery of a service that is financially sustainable, with effective resource management. * Assisting a Home Manager during their induction or providing support for a Home Manager implementing a Service Improvement Plan. * Acting as a deputy for the District Manager when required.
