About The Role
HomeServe is currently recruiting Water Supply Pipe Engineers to join our team in Northampton. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, including some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. The salary ranges from £36,650 to £43,700, depending on experience, plus a £1500 signing bonus.
Your role involves attending customer properties, identifying leaks on water supply pipes, excavating ground to repair pipes, and restoring the ground afterward.
Essential experience includes leak detection, water main repairs, and laying water mains. The role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
As a Water Supply Pipe Engineer, you will maintain and repair mains water pipes in private residences, representing HomeServe and delivering excellent customer service to enhance our reputation and grow our customer base.

About The Candidate
Required qualifications and experience:
- Experience in leak detection, water main repair, and laying water mains
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid UK driving license with no more than six penalty points
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service skills
Preferred but not essential:
- Experience in FCA regulated environments
- WIAPS, CCNSG, or NVQ Level 2
