Fundraising Events Support Volunteer

We\’re looking for volunteers to support Sue Ryder at upcoming events in the Peterborough area. Some of the events include:

1. Multiple smaller local events
2. Dragon Boat (21st June 2025)
3. Beer Festival (19th – 23rd August 2025)
4. Starlight Hike (4th October 2025)
5. Great Eastern Run (12th October 2025)

In this role, you will work alongside your local fundraising team of staff and volunteers to support the smooth running of community fundraising events. Activities may include:

• Helping manage registration or entry at events
• Marshalling events
• Encouraging supporters at events
• Dealing with enquiries and reporting incidents
• Supporting fundraising activities and games such as raffles or tombolas
• Setting up marquees/stalls and clearing up
