Housekeeper/Cook (Temporary) – Chichester, Sussex

We are seeking a high-end Housekeeper/Cook to cover for our client\’s long-term Housekeeper in Chichester, Sussex. This temporary position lasts three months, until the full-time housekeeper returns from medical leave.

The Principals will welcome the Housekeeper as an extension of their family. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate who is friendly, personable, and has a proactive, \’muck-in\’ attitude.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning the home (mopping, dusting, vacuuming, surface wiping)
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Tidying common areas and maintaining an organized kitchen
• Cooking basic, family-style dinners
• Washing up after meals
• Laundry and ironing
• Making beds and changing bed linen
• Running errands (e.g., post office, dry cleaners)

Details:

• Schedule: 40 hours/week across 5 days, including weekends (with flexibility, especially in July when the client is traveling)
• Start date: ASAP
• Driver\’s license required; own car essential
• Accommodation: Self-contained flat, bills included
• Salary: £25-£30 gross per hour
