ASSEMBLY FITTER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!
Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an additional Assembly Fitter to join a well established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.
The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is up to £13.00 per hour (annual salary just over £30,000 per annum), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once you\’ve passed a probation period.
The hiring manager would like someone who has both mechanical and electrical assembly experience, previous experience with 12V electrical systems is preferred.
This role would be a great fit for someone who has previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Technician who has a passion for working with vehicles.
What You Will Do:
- Assemble components into vehicles with precision and attention to detail.
- Measure, cut, and install parts using hand and power tools such as spanners and drills.
- Work from and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Complete supporting paperwork to document your work and progress.
- Contribute to the team\’s success by ensuring high-quality standards are met in every task.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Strong skills in using hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings with confidence.
