Job Description
Position overview:
Serves guests by preparing the dining area, providing waiter service, and clearing tables in line with the F&B concept (restaurant, meeting room, breakfast, bar, or patio). Ensures a high standard of service in terms of guest welcome and waiter service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform order taking and maximize sales through product knowledge and suggestive selling. Confirm orders with guests for accuracy.
- Send orders to the kitchen via the POS system and deliver meals promptly, maintaining quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the service area and on tables.
- Manage your designated section and station responsibly.
- In Room Service, answer calls promptly, promote hotel facilities, and ensure trays and trolleys are set up and collected efficiently.
- Fulfill any other reasonable requests from supervisors or management.
Health & Safety
- Participate in safe work practices, understand emergency procedures, and report hazards or incidents.
- Use protective equipment and support environmental initiatives.
Customer Service
- Provide friendly, professional service, and resolve guest concerns positively.
- Promote hotel facilities and services actively.
General Duties
- Follow training standards and departmental procedures, suggest improvements, and attend training sessions.
- Adhere to the Employee Handbook and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience and knowledge of food safety.
- Strong customer service, teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
