The Opportunity

This is a 12-month Fixed Term contract based at Henry Ison & Sons Funeral Directors – Coventry – Binley Road. Our Funeral Service Operatives are calm, professional, and play a vital role in our service. They are often the first members of the team to meet families, providing reassurance that we will care for their loved ones.

In addition to caring for loved ones, Funeral Service Operatives work behind the scenes in the mortuary, fitting coffins, dressing the deceased, participating in funeral services, pallbearing, and ensuring smooth operations.

Your duties include driving company vehicles, so a full driving licence is required. You will also participate in an out-of-hours, on-call rota, which offers additional earning opportunities.
