Kinetic are currently recruiting for a Metal Polisher to work with our client based in Newcastle.

Package:

• Rate of pay: £15.19 per hour
• Pension: Match up to 6%
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00am – 16:45pm
• Production Bonus: Up to £360 per quarter
• Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive metal polishing and inspection services.
2. Polish finished components to various standards, including standard eighty-grit belt finish, sateen, super sateen, and mirror.
3. Use polishing equipment to polish the radius of components.
4. Utilize inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, PI tapes, and CMM or Faro.
5. Inspect goods in, goods out, subcontract work, and all purchased parts.
6. Conduct in-process and finished goods inspection.
7. Perform process auditing.
8. Sign first and last inspection reports.
9. Report non-conforming parts.
10. Enter technical data into computer spreadsheet packages.
