New River Health based in Hertfordshire, is excited to have an opportunity for an efficient receptionist/administrator to join our busy practice on a full or part-time basis for 25-37.5 hours per week. We can be flexible on days worked so please apply to discuss. This role will work across both our sites, Castlegate and Church Street surgeries.
The main responsibilities of the role include:

Answering calls and making appointments.

Dealing with patient queries face to face, via email and over the telephone.

Managing the booking system, amending appointments and re-scheduling.

Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to support clinical staff and other members of the practice team.

Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system.

Scanning patient information into computerised records, including medical documents, hospital records and letters, as necessary.

Allocating workflow for review by doctors or other health professionals.

Dealing with referrals to primary care.

Processing practice post and emails.
