Complex Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering PEG feeds and associated care (experience essential)

• Supporting with medication as per care plan

• Assisting with personal care routines

• Monitoring health and wellbeing, escalating concerns when needed

• Promoting a calm, positive environment and supporting her to engage in activities she enjoys

• Working closely with family members and the wider multidisciplinary team

• Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding protocols

Requirements:

• Experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs, specifically PEG feeding

• Up–to–date training in moving & handling, medication administration, infection control, safeguarding

• A calm, patient, and respectful manner

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Enhanced DBS check
