ROLE: Regional SHE Manager HOURS: 40 per Week – Permanent Role SALARY: £41,500 – £44,000 plus Company Car BASE: Field Based – Area coverage from Birmingham, down to the South and Penzance Eurocell are an award-winning, stock market listed Plc and the market leader for PVC-u products within the building industry. We are delighted to be recruiting for a Regional Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Manager to support the Southern Division of our Award-Winning Trade Branch Network, to help implement and drive our safety, health and environmental aims. WHAT OUR REGIONAL SHE MANAGERS DO: Work collaboratively with management and operational teams and provide high-quality specialist guidance, support, technical and analytical services Proactively work to facilitate improvements in individual safety behaviours, and drive a positive health and safety culture Lead, guide, advise and support in the effective identification and management of risks, resolution of issues and non-conformances and investigation and management of incidents Monitor and report on branch health and safety performance through relevant observations, audits and data analysis to drive positive improvements in safety standards Strive for improvements in our environmental performance and support any initiatives to aid their success WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR REGIONAL SHE MANAGERS: A full, clean UK driving licence NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards it A proactive, dynamic approach Previous experience of working within a Health and Safety related role, with experience in delivering internal SHE training A logical, analytical and investigative approach to problem solving and identification of root cause, and auditing skills Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, able to engage and influence Good understanding of governing health and safety legislation, with the ability to produce written safety communications Knowledge and experience of effectively managing workplace hazards, completing Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and producing Safe Operating Procedures (SOP’s) Basic knowledge of environmental legislation and environmental management approaches Previous experience within a trade/retail/warehouse environment could be beneficial, but is not essential WHAT WE OFFER OUR REGIONAL SHE MANAGERS: You will be rewarded with a very competitive basic salary of £41,500 – £44,000 Company car 25 days holiday, plus statutory holidays – normally 33 days in total each year Free Healthcare plan for all employees Enhanced Maternity and Paternity benefit Free Life Assurance Plan of 3x your Annual Salary Christmas shutdown Option to join the Eurocell Share Save Scheme at discounted rates, and share in our company success Company Pension Plan Employee discount on Eurocell products Discounts across many well-known online and high street retailers A blend of training, including e-learning and on the job training to help your career development Care First Employee Assistance Programme, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for confidential support and advice, if and when you need it Colleague Referral Programme; we pay you for successfully referring people to join our team Excellent opportunities to grow with us, and progress your career We reserve the right to close this vacancy early.
