Job Opportunity: Justice Service Officer

Location: Community Justice Hub, 35 Range Road, ML1 2HR

Salary: £33,558 – £38,811 per year (pro rata)

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Role Overview

Based within Justice Throughcare & Recovery, as a member of the Justice Service teams, you will contribute to the delivery of Justice Services in accordance with Government Legislation, National, and Council Policy.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with strategy plans and orders.
  2. Manage cases related to community service orders and community payback orders.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential: An HNC, SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent, with extended experience in a social work or social care setting. Demonstrate an interest in working with individuals with offending profiles and maintain an open, non-judgemental attitude.

Additional Requirements

Must become a full Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) member before starting the role.
