As the HSE Lead, reporting to the QHSE Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and developing health, safety, and environmental systems. You’ll work across the business, promoting innovation and the evolution of HSE processes, while ensuring the organisation meets its legal obligations and maintains the highest safety standards., * Manage and enhance HSE processes, procedures, and resources to ensure compliance and safety excellence.

  • Develop and maintain Health & Safety and Environmental management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

  • Chair regular HSE Committee meetings, documenting minutes and driving action points.

  • Investigate health and safety incidents, facilitate root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, certification bodies, and regulators, supporting audits and inspections.

  • Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and HSE tours, ensuring recommended controls are implemented.

  • Identify and support training requirements to uphold the business’s HSE standards.

  • A NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety (or equivalent).

  • Proven management experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Expertise in implementing international management system standards (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).

  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to inspire and lead a positive workplace culture.

  • (Desirable) Experience managing ionising radiation.
