Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of courses, including GCSE and Functional Skills; teaching AS/A‑Level is advantageous.
- Motivate, enthuse and engage learners in English.
- Assist students to become independent learners who can meet English standards and use these in the world of work.
- Utilise learning technology effectively to enhance and extend students\’ and apprentices\’ knowledge and skills.
- Support multi‑site delivery, with regular travel between College sites and other delivery venues within the Borough.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold excellent English qualifications.
- Have a proven track record of impact; recent Cert Ed/PGCE graduates will also be considered.
- Possess outstanding subject knowledge and passion for the subject.

Eligible FE teachers in the first five years of teaching who spend at least half of their hours teaching eligible courses at level 3 or below may be eligible to claim a levelling‑up premium payment ranging from £2,000 to £6,000.
