Job Description

Integration / Infrastructure Engineer – Contract

  • Start Date – ASAP (Must be immediately available)
  • Length – 1 Month Initial, Followed by 6-8 Months Extension
  • Right to Work: Sponsorship not available
  • Day Rate: £500 to £600 via Umbrella Engagement
  • Working Arrangement: First 2 Weeks Onsite – The Fully Remote
  • Location – Greater London (M4 Corridor – Must be relatively commutable)

Must Have Skills: Linux & VMWare

Desired Skills: IBM MQ and Mulesoft (We would be happy to consider candidates without this experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure and Integration team This pivotal role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our critical integration platforms, ensuring seamless communication between various enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, alongside robust expertise in Linux operating systems, IBM MQ, and VMware virtualization technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deploy, and manage APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, Design Center).
  • Implement API-led connectivity principles, ensuring reusability, scalability, and security of integration solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot MuleSoft applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical integration designs.
  • Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) in production and non-production environments.
  • Perform system hardening, patch management, and security configurations.
  • Troubleshoot Linux operating system issues, including performance bottlenecks, network connectivity, and storage.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ queue managers, queues, channels, and listeners.
  • Monitor MQ performance, troubleshoot message delivery issues, and ensure queue integrity.
  • Administer and manage VMware vSphere environments (ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, vSAN).
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot virtual machines (VMs).
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions for virtualized environments.
