Account Manager Public Sector

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets as discussed with manager
  • Proactively develop sales opportunities and understand customer requirements
  • Win new business supported by Public Sector bid team
  • Grow and develop existing account base
  • Collaborate with pre-sales team to lead the messaging and offerings with customers
  • Manage customer / supplier / distribution relationships (manage your network)
  • Be responsible for pipeline
  • Be at the forefront of technology developments and discuss this with public sector customer

Job Requirements

You must be self-motivated and hard working with a minimum of good GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths and ideally, but not essentially, good A-Levels. You will be extremely efficient and well organised whilst paying attention to detail. A positive attitude, upbeat and helpful persona is key to this role. It is essential you can take direction but use your own initiative when required and be enthusiastic and self-motivated. MS Word and MS Excel knowledge would be useful but not essential. The company is very team orientated, so it is essential that you are a team player with a β€˜can do’ attitude.
