We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our Accident Repair Centre team. As a VDA, you will be responsible for assessing the damage to vehicles and creating accurate repair estimates, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage
- Creating accurate and detailed repair estimates using manufacturer's data and industry guidelines
- Liaising with customers and insurance companies to discuss repair costs and timescales
- Ordering necessary parts and materials for repairs
- Monitoring repairs and ensuring they are completed to a high standard
- Keeping up-to-date with manufacturer repair methods and industry standards
- Providing support and guidance to other members of the team as required
- Ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Keeping work area clean and tidy
- Maintaining equipment and tools
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor in an Accident Repair Centre or similar environment
- Thorough knowledge of vehicle repair methods, materials, and costs
