Reed Finance Norwich are delighted to be working with a business, with various locations globally to recruit for a Senior Management Accountant to join their Finance Department. This role involves comprehensive accounting responsibilities across multiple currencies and jurisdictions, management reporting, VAT returns, and assisting with year-end statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance for various group entities.

Day-to-day of the role:

Full responsibility for the accounting of several group companies.

Prepare management accounts including variance analysis and commentary.

Prepare and post monthly journals such as prepayments, accruals, and payroll.

Handle intercompany transactions and computations.

Prepare and submit periodic VAT.

Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.

Contribute to year-end audit and corporation tax compliance processes.

Oversee and mentor members of the finance department, especially in Norwich.

Maintain and improve existing systems and control environments.

Monitor cash flow needs and surpluses of the affected entities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across the Group.

Self-managed with a proactive approach.

Strong understanding of systems, infrastructures, and processes in diverse environments.

Proficient in MS Office tools, particularly Excel.

A minimum of 2 years post-qualified ACCA or equivalent.
