Handy Person

Fantastic opportunity for a Handy Person to join a growing building service provider on a large commercial property based in Leicester, East Midlands! You'll be working alongside an experienced lead engineer, joining a growing company and receive valuable career progression!

This is a static role, 40 hour working week (Flexible hours) on a large commercial site.

For this Handy Person position, you will be responsible for fabric / carpentry duties on site, assist the Lead Engineer, respond to client needs and ensure all logbooks are up to date.

Handy Person Duties:

• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure the efficient operation of fabric- related tasks.

• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues, diagnosing and repairing fabric related faults.

• Carry out furniture moves and reconfigure as needed.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

• Maintain fire doors and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Handy Person Requirements:

• Experience in a similar Handy Person related role

• Live within a commutable distance to site

• Client facing attitude

• Able to work flexible hours

Salary and Package:

• £31,000 per annum

• Monday – Friday, 40 hour working week (Flexible on hours)

• Parking on site

• 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
