Spanning the beautiful Suffolk countryside and coast, the Fromus, Castle and Eagle Veterinary groups are looking for a New Graduate Vet to join our great team. We have a strong group of vets with varying interests supported both by our experienced nurses and fantastic front of house team.

We offer a diverse and interesting case-load with adequate time to invest in our patients and their work-ups. We also offer a cardiology referral service to local practices through our two certificate holders. We are very willing and keen to support and invest in future training and qualifications if this is of interest. We have just had a new dental x-ray machine installed which we are excited to utilise alongside all the usual equipment and facilities you would expect.

This is a full time, permanent position with Saturdays on a rota and no OOHs. As well as enjoying our modern facilities, well equipped practice and a busy varied caseload, you will have access to a range of benefits and our tailor made New Graduate programme offering you the right support network in practice by ensuring you have an experienced clinical mentor working alongside you in your practice.

In addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.

These are just some of the benefits of the programme:

  • Paid onboarding phase which includes a Residential. All UK travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for the Residential will be covered by CVS
  • Salary of £35,000 which increases upon completion of year 1 and year 2 of the programme
  • No financial tie-in beyond completion of the programme.

  • Up to 7 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays (or equivalent) with our Buy/Sell holiday scheme - allowing you to purchase an additional two weeks of annual leave
