Key Responsibilities of the Electric Metering Engineer

  • Install and maintain AMR, Half-Hourly, CT, LV, and HV meters
  • Conduct communications testing and resolve connectivity issues
  • Retrieve critical metering data from I&C sites
  • Own the customer experience at every site visit
  • Complete all work to Health & Safety and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with support teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Manage and maintain tools, stock, and documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • EUSR registration up to Three Phase Whole Current is essential
  • Experience in I&C or AMR metering is highly desirable
  • Strong working knowledge of CT/LV or CT/HV installations
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Confident working independently across business sites
  • Competent with digital platforms and handheld technology

Bonus Qualifications (not essential but desirable):

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • City & Guilds Electrical qualifications

Salary & Benefits

  • £43,134 for CT/LV | £45,188 for CT/HV
