Key Responsibilities * Contract Management: Manage project changes using CEMAR to ensure adherence to NEC contractual timelines. * Applications for Payment: Oversee timely production of monthly applications per contract terms. * Commercial Guidance: Provide strategic commercial advice to site teams and management on contractual matters. * Supply Chain Coordination: Draft and manage NEC3 subcontracts, ensuring clear communication of terms and obligations. * Valuations and Reporting: Prepare internal valuations, monthly cost/value reports, and present findings to senior management. * Collaboration: Foster effective communication with project managers, senior quantity surveyors, and engineering teams. * Forecasting: Compile forecasts and attend project forecast meetings to support data-driven decision-making. * Project Support: Assist Contracts Managers and operational teams with expert commercial insights. * Mentorship: Support the development of junior commercial team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning. * Risk Management: Identify opportunities to maximize project performance and minimize risks. Qualifications and Skills * Education: Degree-level qualification in a relevant field. * Contract Knowledge: Strong understanding of NEC contract forms. * Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools. * Project Management: Capable of managing multiple projects with values ranging from £10k to £10m. * Professional Qualification: RICS or CICES accreditation is desirable. * Industry Background: Experience in nuclear, M&E, or civils sectors is advantageous, as is familiarity with TSC contracts.
