Adept Resourcing are excited to recruit a People & Culture Advisor to join our globally recognised, large-scale engineering and manufacturing client in the heart of Sheffield. As part of a strategic transformation programme, our client is entering a new era of growth and innovation, securing its place as a critical supplier in the UK's defence and infrastructure sectors. This 18-month FTC is an ideal opportunity for a motivated HR professional to make a tangible impact, with the real potential for the role to become permanent.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the first point of contact for operational HR queries and support
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Maintain and analyse HR data, reporting on key metrics such as turnover and absence
- Support the full recruitment cycle - from posting roles and conducting interviews to onboarding
- Advise managers on performance management and employee development
- Contribute to employee engagement and well-being programmes
- Help refine and improve HR processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
About You
- CIPD Level 3 qualification (or higher)
- Experience in providing HR advice to managers and staff
- Skilled in using HRIS platforms and case management systems
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Sound understanding of HR metrics, recruitment, and talent practices
- Passion for creating a positive employee experience and culture
