Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our market leading manufacturing client with their search for a Production Supervisor. Overall Purpose: The purpose of this role is to be focused on the delivery of the production outputs by training, developing and managing their team members, and taking ownership of ongoing cultural development in line with the company strategic goals to grow revenue and operating profit year on year.Key Duties: Drive performance through delivery of a plan – managing set-up and production times per job/machine/ operator. Operating against metrics – using OTD, RFT, Morale, Safety, Cost management data to deliver a 'what does good look like' ethos. Accountability for real-time quality. Accountability for real-time safety. Accountability for planned delivery. Owning and driving 5S improvement activities. Accountability for managing costs, troubleshoot existing processes and eliminate waste and risk. Day to management of people management – absence and sickness levels, holidays, breaks, labour utilisation. Ownership of training, development and performance management.
