The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are currently looking to recruit experienced Solicitors & Paralegals in our well-established residential conveyancing team. The role will involve:
- Dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing including:
- Taking a client’s instructions
- Advising clients on legal issues relating to their case
- Drafting documents, letters and contracts tailored to the client’s individual needs
- Negotiating with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives
- Coordinating the work of all parties involved
- Corresponding with clients and opposing solicitors
- Working in a busy team, referring cases to relevant partner as required
- Arranging and attending further client meetings where necessary to progress with the case and finalise documentation
- Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the law by undertaking a range of CPD activities throughout career
- Managing a high-volume caseload as delegated by the work allocation team
- Providing excellent client service to ensure the values of the firm are being always represented
The successful candidate will:
- Have extensive knowledge and experience in residential conveyancing law
- Be well organised and attentive to detail
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise large workloads
- Have good communication skills
- Work effectively on own as well as with other team members
- Be comfortable with common Microsoft programmes including Outlook, Word and Excel
