The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
To maximise production OTD >95% to the highest quality standards in order to achieve the budgeted annual output whilst ensuring Health and Safety accountability.
To achieve this the Fitter performs a sequence of predefined, specialised and different electric assembly operations, including cable tray arrangements, use of industrial /ship building cabling, industrial glanding (including steel wired armoured), in the assembly of Gas Turbine Modules & Packages.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Assemble, Terminate and Test the full range of Packaging Modules & Packages – incl. electrical testing of connector assemblies, solder terminations, complete build records and test sheets without errors.

Performs a set of qualified assembly operations, in accordance with Package Assembly and Package procedures.

Collaborate with the complete plan, complete and analyse results of Module & Package Assembly routines and procedures.

Assists in resolving routine Packaging manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.

Report defective components.

Mentor and train new employees and apprentices when appropriate.

Fitting / Electrical assembly experience essential.

Good mechanical assembly experience desirable.

Electrical knowledge to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3, or completed apprenticeship in similar field needed.

Good level of IT competence and ability to understand wiring schematics desirable.

Ability to plan own work steps in partnership with other team members.
