We are looking to work with vibrant and inclusive individuals to build their teaching, learning and assessment skills in delivering and assessing our learners in this dynamic industry.
As a lecturer in the Hair, Beauty, Health and Early Years team you will be involved in the delivery of outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment across a range of programmes. Whilst the role of Beauty lecturer focuses primarily on teaching, learning and assessment and associated administrative tasks such as preparation and delivery of agreed Plans of Learning, marking and working within the Quality Framework for associated Awarding Organisations will also be included.
You may be involved in wider team activities such as new student interviews, open evenings, tasters and advice sessions. You can expect to be involved with our learners journey at BTC right through from induction to end of course activities, supporting Course Leaders with quality systems such as Self-Assessment monitoring, internal moderation/verification, standardisation activities. You may also support learners as a personal tutor.
You are expected to undertake CPD as appropriate to your role to ensure that learners benefit with up-to-date industry skills and practice to enable them to progress into meaningful and relevant employment or higher education.
