Role: Account Executive or Senior Account Executive (depending on experience) - Full-time, permanent

Reporting to: Account Manager/Account Director

Location: Oxford HQ or London office – Hybrid working (Minimum 2 days in office – up to 3 days WFH, if desired).

ABOUT YOU

You’ll bring some workplace experience, ideally in or adjacent to the communications space. You’ll have opinions on the climate crisis and the energy industry’s contribution to it as both problem and solution. You’ll want to be on the right side of history in the race to decarbonise and you’ll recognise how communications and marketing can play a positive role in that race.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Account Management

Daily liaison with colleagues, clients, media and other third parties. Contribute to, or own, a variety of proactive media relations, social media, event, and marketing activities. Consider issues in the context of the headlines of the day, as well as commercial client objectives and the wider industry agenda. Help to draft channel-appropriate and engaging content. Build solid relationships with key clients, nurturing their understanding of their commercial proposition, the services Tamarindo provide and the media environment - aiming to become a ‘go-to’ resource. Track progress against team and individual KPIs. Prepare and deliver client activity reports, contact reports, meeting notes and such like to ensure the smooth daily running of client accounts.

  • People Development

Demonstrate a clear and proven ability to work independently and as part of a wider account team. Contribute to the development of any junior staff.

  • Business Development

Drive client satisfaction and account retention by nurturing strong relationships and delivering solid results. Consider opportunities for account growth with your colleagues. Always demonstrate Tamarindo’s specialist expertise and quality of delivery.
