Priory Hospital Dewsbury is situated in a community location in West Yorkshire. The hospital provides a specialist inpatient service for adults and older age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have an undiagnosed memory related illness. We also provide a specialist neurocognitive/dementia care service for males presenting with very agitated or aggressive behaviour.
The hospital is split as follows:
- Hartley Ward - rehabilitation and recovery for severe and enduring mental health
- Jubilee Ward - neurocognitive/dementia service for those showing agitated or aggressive behaviour
They both focus upon active rehabilitation and recovery for those requiring a bespoke package of care.
You will be a confident leader who is keen to help develop others. You will understand the dynamics of working in both hospital and other healthcare environments and be able to help offer containment and support to those who need it within a culture of compassion.
All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland. We are an equal opportunities employer. Priory will cover the cost of a DBS check.
