We are recruiting for IT Technician to provide support in Adult education college Wolverhampton. Locations: Wolverhampton Pay rate: £12.59 per hour Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Enhanced DBS required Job Purpose: Within the context of the Strategic Plan of Adult Education Wolverhampton, the post holder will play a crucial role in supporting the ICT officer to ensure the smooth operation of ICT infrastructure of the Service. They will be responsible for providing technical support to staff and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and maintaining ICT systems to facilitate the efficient delivery of services as required by students and staff. Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide first line technical support to staff and students, assisting with hardware (including printers/MFDs), software and network issues. Respond promptly to user requests and resolve technical problems efficiently in order to minimise downtime. Hardware Support Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, printing/photocopying devices and other ICT equipment owned by the Service. Maintenance Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as hardware upgrades and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
