Quantity Surveyor – Plymouth An opportunity has arisen to join a leading construction main contractor for a unique and rare project in the region. As a Quantity Surveyor working with this leading contractor, you will take commercial responsibility for the phase/section/package incl. internal package procurement and commercial reporting, ensuring alignment with project objectives. This contractor offers a wide range of schemes of new build and refurbishments within Education, Health, Defence, Leisure and Hospitality. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of package commercial plans, incorporating deliverables and commercial plan targets into package scopes and pricing documents To support the project team with commercial and contractual expertise Assist the procurement team in producing package procurement documents as required, ensuring  efficient and effective procurement processes Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks Implement policies for risk management Prepare Subcontract Final Accounts for review and sign-off Preparation and presentation of monthly Cost Reports Value works executed by Sub-Contractors Certify interim and final payments Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field Proven experience in quantity surveying roles within the construction ind…
