The Integration Cloud development role will work collaboratively with our clients’ HR, IT and SI Partner to enable transformative digital change in how the client:

The successful candidate will join the Oracle HCM Cloud Programme and will be aligned to the Integration Workstream where they will play a pivotal role in driving the integration of Oracle HCM modules with various third-party applications and internal systems. They will be responsible for seamless data flow, optimising processes, and contributing to the overall success of the programme by enabling efficient, scalable, and compliant integrations across the HCM solution landscape.
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Development Lead to join our clients’ Oracle HCM Cloud Programme. The candidate will have considerable implementation experience in leading the design, build, test, and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud integrations across a wide range of application modules. The role will involve providing technical guidance to junior team members combined with direct development.
Responsibilities:
- Integration Development Lead: Lead the end-to-end integration process for Oracle HCM Cloud, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Canonical Data Model and compartment architectures: Iteratively build the HCM Canonical Data Model within a Shared Service compartment to be consumed by child integrations.
- Connectors & Adapters: Configure and customise OIC adapters (e.g., Oracle HCM, Oracle EBS, third-party adapters) for integrating cloud and on-premises applications.
- Business Logic Implementation: Implement complex business logic, data transformations, and mappings between systems using OIC’s visual development environment and integration tools.
- API Management: Develop and manage APIs for integration between Oracle HCM, Oracle EBS, Oracle Field Service (OFS) and external applications, ensuring proper security and scalability.
- Error Handling & Monitoring: Build a dedicated parent error-handling integration that will process all errors raised by child integrations enabling errors to be handled uniformly across the HCM Integration estate.
- CI/CD: Implement CI/CD pipelines for OIC integration components using Azure Dev Ops including building of deployment pipelines to promote integration code from upstream to downstream environments.
- SCRUM: Lead Integration Development team in planning and managing sprint velocity, burndown, and defects specific to integration delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams, architects, and project managers to understand integration requirements and align solutions with business needs.
- Documentation: Create and quality assure detailed technical integration specifications, testing procedures, and deployment steps.
- Testing & Debugging: Perform thorough unit and integration testing of OIC solutions to ensure high-quality code and efficient data flows.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including performance and data-related problems.
- Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise the performance of OIC integrations, focusing on throughput, latency, and scalability.
- Mentoring and Support: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members of the integration team.
- Knowledge Transfer: Create comprehensive handover documentation/troubleshooting guide and provide side-by-side learning to BAU team.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with Oracle’s latest integration tools, frameworks, and best practices. Continuously improve integration processes and solution design.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Konicle/Conicle.
- Demonstrable experience defining and implementing canonical data models across multiple integration flows.
- In-depth knowledge of compartment architecture in OCI for workload segregation and security.
- Expert in use of Azure Dev Ops CI/CD Pipelines and sprint boards.
- Proven experience in connecting and synchronising Oracle Field Service with Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Time and Labour and Workforce Scheduling.
- Proven experience in connecting Oracle HCM Payroll with third party applications e.g. HMRC.
- Proficient in using Oracle Adapters (e.g., Oracle EBS Adapter, Oracle HCM Cloud Adapter) for integration purposes.
- Proficient in using SOAP, REST APIs, and web services for connecting and integrating third-party systems through custom integrations.
- Expert in data transformations and mapping between different data formats and systems.
- Good understanding of Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), or similar integration tools.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database integration for working with relational data stores.
- Knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Integration Cloud or similar cloud integration platforms is preferable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience in integrating third-party applications with Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation for OIC deployments.
- Knowledge of security protocols like OAuth 2.0, SSL, and API management best practices.
