A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on technical leader to oversee product compliance, innovation, and engineering development. The successful candidate will combine expertise in electrical engineering with a practical approach to mechanical systems, product lifecycle management, and regulatory standards.

The position involves close collaboration with operations and senior leadership to ensure all products meet performance expectations and industry regulations, while also driving product innovation and supporting internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure product lines comply with applicable British and European standards
  • Manage technical testing processes and oversee usage of laboratory or test equipment
  • Drive enhancement of existing products and identify new development opportunities
  • Resolve warranty issues through design improvements
  • Integrate new technologies and materials into product offerings
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical files, manuals, and bulletins
  • Serve as the point of contact for technical queries from both internal teams and customers
  • Deliver product training sessions and on-site technical support as required
  • Provide direction to a CAD-focused design engineer
