They are seeking a passionate and experienced Drama Teacher to join their dedicated faculty. This fulltime permanent position offers a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students from over 40 nationalities. Position Overview: The successful candidate will be instrumental in empowering students to develop their creativity confidence and communication skills through the performing arts. This role entails fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages selfexpression collaboration and a lifelong appreciation for the dramatic arts. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Drama curriculum to students in Grades 6 to 12. Design and implement engaging drama lessons incorporating a range of theatrical techniques and performance styles. Prepare and mark a wide range of assessments following MYP and DP protocols. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students. Direct and produce school productions and performances showcasing student talent and creativity. Embed IB Approaches to Learning in the curriculum delivery. Collaborate with other faculty members to establish interdisciplinary links and enrich the overall learning experience. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest developments in drama education. Education and Qualifications: Degree or equivalent qualification in Drama Theatre or a related field. Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) International Baccalaureate curriculum experience Fluency in both verbal and written English Knowledge and Skills: Full knowledge of drama theory practice and history.
