£70-80k plus comms. We’re working with an incredibly successful digital marketing agency with a specialism across SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Web Development and Creative Content Production. Their client base is broad, encompassing leading brands including e-commerce, F&B, fashion, homewares, education and many more.
This is a newly created role as the agency looks to tighten up their BD efforts and bring in more rigour and process. You will be heading up the sales team of 3, with a focus on leading from the front whilst coaching and motivating the team to reach their full capabilities. You will need to have a track record of implementing repeatable sales processes, playbooks and learning pathways. The goal is to foster a metrics‑driven, collaborative culture that celebrates over‑achievement.
At the same time, you will be personally prospecting, pitching and closing multi‑service projects across SEO, Paid Media/Social, Web Development and Creative. It’s crucial that you have experience in this sector so you come armed with a deep knowledge. The role will see you partner with marketing to craft ABM campaigns, events and content that raise brand profile and drive inbound SQLs. You’ll also collaborate with Client Services, Product and Delivery to ensure seamless handover and retention of new clients.
Essential qualities and experience (we can only consider candidates who tick these boxes):
- Min 7 years selling integrated digital marketing or technology solutions within an agency/consultancy; at least 2 years in a player‑coach or leadership role.
- Consistent over‑performance vs £1 m‑plus annual new‑business targets.
- Deep understanding of SEO, PPC, Paid Social, CRO, web builds, creative production and software support models.
- Proven ability to build, mentor and retain high‑energy sales teams.
- Proficient with HubSpot/LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong.
