As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to oversee the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our residents. You will lead and inspire the care team, oversee clinical operations and ensure adherence to regulatory standards., * Assist the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a high standard of care is provided

Lead and supervise the nursing and care staff, providing clinical expertise and guidance

Oversee the care planning process, ensuring residents’ individual needs are met with dignity and respect

Monitor clinical care standards, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and policies

Support the recruitment, training and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team

Conduct regular audits, including medication management and care plans, to ensure best practices

Act as a role model for excellent clinical care and leadership

Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals

Step into the Home Manager’s role when they are absent, ensuring continuity of care and management

Qualification as a Registered General Nurse with a current and valid NMC pin number

Proven management experience within a care home setting

Strong clinical skills with an understanding of CQC requirements, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, HSE (Health & Safety Executive) requirements and other relevant legislation

Excellent communication with a positive, flexible and innovative attitude
