A dynamic property investment firm based in Battersea is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Acquisitions Chartered Surveyor to join their growing team on a full-time, on-site basis. Specialising in the acquisition of commercial and residential properties through company purchases, this role offers a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial surveyor looking to operate outside the constraints of traditional corporate environments.
The successful Acquisitions Chartered Surveyor will be RICS qualified with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience and a proven ability to close deals. Immediate starts are available, and the firm is also open to considering a temp arrangement for the right Acquisitions Chartered Surveyor.
The appointed Acquisitions Chartered Surveyor will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and securing on- and off-market property opportunities. This includes end-to-end involvement from due diligence to legal completion, followed by handover to project delivery. The Acquisitions Chartered Surveyor will report directly to the director, supporting rapid business expansion through strategic acquisitions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and acquiring investment opportunities in commercial and residential sectors
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and closing transactions
- Conducting internal market research and analysis for the principal
- Undertaking detailed due diligence to ensure robust acquisitions
- Reviewing leases and tenancy schedules and attending vendor meetings
- Analysing asset value and potential for value enhancement
- Regularly reporting to the director on acquisition progress
The Acquisitions Chartered Surveyor should be:
- MRICS qualified with at least 2 years of PQE
- Experienced in acquisitions, investments, or asset management within residential or commercial property
- Results-driven and confident in negotiating and finalising deals
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Comfortable working autonomously in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment
In Return:
Basic salary from £65,000 per annum. Additional benefits including discretionary bonuses, car allowance, and commission - OTE £100,000+. A high-autonomy position with scope to significantly influence deal flow and business growth.
