Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Darlington, seeking a talented individual to join their finance team on a maternity cover contract until March 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales and margin analysis (volume, price, mix) against budget and forecast
- Deliver insightful reporting using Business Intelligence (BI)/Data Warehouse tools
- Manage warranty and rebate calculations and analysis
- Perform overhead cost analysis, including accruals and provisions
- Complete sales company group reporting packages with variance analysis
- Prepare monthly management accounts and divisional review presentations
- Lead monthly P&L forecasting and contribute to strategic financial planning
- Support the annual budgeting process and reporting deliverables
About You:
- Finalist or fully qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Strong background in business partnering and financial analysis
- Proficient in financial systems and BI tools
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
