We are now looking for a Property Site Maintenance Engineer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our site in Leeds (LS9 0SG), working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced property or facilities maintenance professional to join our industry-leading logistics organisation. You will play a key role in keeping our Leeds site running like clockwork, where your skills directly support global supply chains that power countless industries. As a Property Site Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining our Leeds premises safely and effectively, while upholding H&S and customer requirements. Specifically, you will support and monitor contractors, ensuring they work in line with pre-approved risk assessments and method statements. Conducting periodic site maintenance checks and repairs, you will uphold compliance with relevant machinery-related legislation and Health and Safety procedures.
Additionally, you will:
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Carry out minor repair work
- Use PPE as required
- Undertake regular site audits and escalate any abnormalities
About You
To be considered as a Property Site Maintenance Engineer, you will need:
- At least 2 years experience in general building maintenance, electrical maintenance or facilities maintenance, preferably within a distribution company
- City & Guilds 18th edition electrical qualification
- Good working knowledge of property legislation and H&S requirements
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Good organisational skills
- A good level of IT literacy
An H&S-related qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH would be beneficial. Please note, this role will involve working at elevated heights. The closing date for this role is 6th June 2025.
