Job Title: Fabricator/Welder, Pipefitter – Food & Beverage Industry Location: Swadlincote (50% workshop / 50% UK-wide sites) About the Role Join a leading engineering contractor specializing in food and beverage projects! We’re looking for skilled Fabricators/Welders and Pipefitters to join on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic company. What You’ll Do * Perform TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel. * Split your time between our Swadlincote workshop and national sites. * Deliver high-quality work that meets food industry standards. * Follow safety regulations and adapt to various project demands. What You Bring * Proven TIG welding experience, especially with stainless steel. * Background in the food and beverage industry. * Flexibility to travel to sites and work overtime as needed. * Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings. What We Offer * Salary: £41,600.00 annually (£20/hour for a 40-hour week) + paid travel. * Overtime: 1.5x rate on Saturdays and after 8 hours (Mon-Fri); 2x on Sundays/holidays. * Benefits: Company van, private healthcare, pension, 31 days’ holiday, and more. * Tools Provided: Laptop, phone, and lodging expenses covered for project sites.
